چکیده

Ground state properties of the superheavy elements (SHE) with 108≤Z≤128 and 150≤N≤192 are investigated using both the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock method with a density-independent contact pairing interaction and the macroscopic-microscopic approach with an average Woods-Saxon potential and a monopole pairing interaction. Detailed analysis of binding energies, separation energies, shell effects, single proton and neutron states, equilibrium deformations, Qα-values, and other observables is given. PACS number(s): 21.10.-k, 21.30.Fe, 21.60.Jz, 23.60.+e, 27.90.+b Typeset using REVTEX

On Theoretical Problems in Synthesis of Superheavy Elements

Predictions and structure studies of superheavy elements (SHE) have been made, since the establishment of the nuclear shell model[1]. Especially in the last decade, elaborate investigations have been performed of shell correction energy and thereby of a possible location of the superheavy island in the nuclear chart. Furthermore, not only about the center of the island, but also about stability...

Superheavy nuclei with the vector self-coupling of the ω-meson in the relativistic mean-field theory

We have studied properties and shell structure of the superheavy elements from Z = 102 to Z = 120 within the framework of the RMF theory. The region of study spans nuclides with neutron numbers N = 150 − 190. The Lagrangian model NL-SV1 with the inclusion of the vector self-coupling of the ω-meson has been employed in this work. We have performed RMF + BCS calculations for an axially deformed c...

Theoretical Predictions of Residues Cross Sections of Superheavy Elements

Dynamical reaction theories are reviewed for synthesis of superheavy elements. Characteristic features of formation and surviving are discussed with reference to possible incident channels. Theoretical predictions are presented on favorable incident channels and on optimum energies for synthesis of Z = 114. 1. Introduction Superheavy elements around Z = 114(or 126) and N = 184 have been believe...

Fusion Hindrance and the Role of Shell Effects in the Superheavy Mass Region

We present the first attempt of the systematical investigation about the effects of shell correction energy for dynamical processes, which include fusion, fusion-fission and quasi-fission processes. In the superheavy mass region, for the fusion process, the shell correction energy plays a very important role and enhances the fusion probability, when the colliding partner has strong shell struct...
